Uss Endurance

Come join the newest ship in the 5th Fleet as we embark on a journey of exploration.

Set in the year 2418 the Endurance is an experimental explorer. A refitted Century class starship equiped with a mk2 spore drive, during testing she is flung far from home damaged and unable to return she must limp forward as the crew try to find materials required to repair the damaged drive.

The sim will focus on the exploration side of trek discovering new races on our journey home without any support from the fleet.

A few years into the Sampson's service, there was a Gorn attack that claimed the life of the Captain, and her young Executive Officer was placed into the Commanding Officer role.

Mission 97 is just getting started and Starbase 400 is looking for a few dedicated people that are interested in joining our family and fill a few empty positions in our team.

A multi-award winning sim, Starbase 400 has a rich history and an active community. Simming continuously since 1995, Starbase 400 has developed a vast backstory, complete with dozens of permanent NPCs, a fleet of ships, and a dangerous intersection of space to defend.

To support its in character universe, Starbase 400 maintains an academy, a database, a timeline of sim canon, and logs of each mission to ensure members are informed. Infused with a focus on character development and realistic storytelling, these factors combine, producing an intensely vibrant sim.

Starbase 400 is based in the Prime Universe, set in 2395. It's a time of change. Romulus and Remus are no more, the Enterprise-E has been decommissioned, the Cardassians are allies of the Federation/Klingon
Alliance, and new technologies are being introduced. Starbase 400 is a Spacedock type starbase positioned near the Klingon and Romulan borders. She has what amounts to a small fleet assigned to her.

Missions vary from Exploration to Combat, Special Operations to Scientific. Starbase 400 is a family, many players have been with the sim for years, and the best part is, everyone is a star!

The year is 2389 and balance of power is in turmoil. It has been a year since the destruction of Romulus in the Hobus hypernova and the Romulan Star Empire has resealed its borders. The Klingon empire is resurgent and roiling, taking the opportunity in Romulan weakness to strike forward into expansion. The Dominion are silent, lurking in the Gamma Quadrant, perhaps waiting for the right conditions to return. It is a precarious time for the Federation.

I am Captain James McCullen. The USS Sentinel is an Intrepid-class starship that is part of Starfleet's 22nd Fleet. The Sentinel's primary focus is exploration and science-based discovery, but with the current state of the galaxy, we may be called upon to carry out other duties for the Federation.

Having been recovered from Meja's Nebula, the newly reactivated USS Sentinel has gone through a bow-to-stern restoration and refit. Now, the USS Sentinel heads out on her first active-service mission under Captain McCullen. The ship is to proceed to the Gamma Quadrant on a Diplomatic mission to establish relations with worlds which have ceded or never been taken by the Dominion, and to assist in establishing a more stable Federation presence in the quadrant.

The USS Sentinel is a play-by-nova role-playing game set in the Star Trek universe, we are part of 22nd Fleet. If you are interested in joining our simulation, whether you have experience or not, you are welcome. All you need is a creative mind.

Come be a part of the journey to carry on where Captain Archer left off! If you loved Star Trek: Enterprise, then you'll love Star Trek: Endeavour! The simulation will be open to all players to engage with one of the biggest events in pre-Federation history: the Earth-Romulan war. The simulation is set at the end of 2155, moving into 2156.

"What Ever The Cost May Be" is the opening storyline which will be based around one of the biggest battles from the war: The Battle of Sol. The simulation is age rated at 13+.

Leading the crew will be newly battlefield promoted captain: Oliver Campbell. Similar to Kirk from The Original Series, Campbell’s approaches will be seen as almost cowboy diplomacy as he is quick to react to situations and deal with the consequences later. Unlike other Starfleet Captains in command of the other NX-class ships, he never wanted to be an explorer. He had entered Starfleet to avoid his own real-life issues and this baggage will follow him on to his first command.

Endeavour will deal with the harshness of war and will have a higher number of MACOs assigned to the crew and less members in the science department. Friction will stir among the crew between the Starfleet crew and MACO detachment. Alongside this, a majority of the Starfleet crew are fresh from Starfleet Training Command. The Battle of Sol saw the loss of many experienced officers and now Starfleet is forced to spread-out those who survived to other positions. In ancient Greek mythology Athena was the Olympian goddess of wisdom and good counsel, war, the defence of towns, heroic endeavour, weaving, pottery and various other crafts.

All of those things are to be expected in the stories we want to tell. (Including even the part about weaving and pottery, if you're so inclined!)

A brand new sim as part of Obsidian Fleet, the USS Athena is a Prometheus-class ship designed to be on the frontlines of the conflicts Starfleet faces. That needs a crew that is committed, adaptable, and capable. They're likely to be sent into situations where a firm hand is needed, beyond mere diplomacy.

We know that Starfleet as an organisation is peaceful and exploratory - but there are times when tough decisions need to be made and outcomes aren't always black-and-white. Our aim is to tell some stories where players have the opportunity to face up to some interesting moral dilemmas with a lasting impact - and challenge their own ability as writers in the process.
