I was shocked to see on my Facebook feed an announcement by James Cawley on the passing of Greg Schnitzer, former producer for Star Trek: New voyages and Phase 2, but also close at home as the moderator for this section of Trek BBS.
hopefully a more official message will come our way, but personally speaking Greg served as moderator with dignity and distinction. He will be missed.

I only met him once when we worked on an episode of New Voyages, but he was a warm, welcoming guy. He was also a fellow nurse as well as a fan. My condolences to his friends and family. Gone far too soon. RIP Greg.

He was a good guy. He even bought the starshipexeter.com domain name when it accidentally lapsed and just handed it over to us. Alas, poor Greg.
