My last phone I had the Nokia ring tone used in ST:XI. It was specially made for the movie, though to most it would sound like the traditional one. Subtle differences. Dl'd it from somewhere or other.

I am looking for a specific ringtone. It is the incoming message alert for Picards computer terminal from the beginning of Star Trek First Contact. I have been searching with Google but haven't found it yet. Anyone have any idea where I can get it? Or is someone able to make it?

Use Audacity.

I had a few minutes so I did it for you. I had to employ some noise reduction because the alert tone is accompanied by a small motor sound of the display lifting up.

http://trekcore.com has many of them or you could just Google any sound that you may be looking for as an mp.3 or wav. Just download it and send it to your phone in an email or message as I do. Then set it as your ringtone. My phone is just an older Samsung Intensity II and is not a smartphone that I have had for 4 years. It is smart enough however to receive and use the mp.3's and wav's that I send to it as ringtones. The same goes for wallpapers.

Oh, that's nice. Saved!

I have an android phone, and use LCARS Live Wallpaper 2, LCARS Go-SMS and LCARS Enterprise Go-Locker. Star Trek To-Do is a great functional app which includes a to-do list that is voice-to-text, a calculator and a notes/log section.

For my ringtone I use voy_hail.mp3 and my text/notification sound is computerbeep_42.mp3 - both downloadable from trekcore.

Anyone who owns ANY windows device should be using LCARSx32 as their exclusive windows shell replacement. I am a big believer in Trek/LCARS apps/programs for phones, tablets and desktops being actually functional. Too many LCARS apps are 'all flash no function', in that they're good at making sounds and having pointless gimmicky things like animated warp cores rotating in the background but can't actually be used to do anything with. LCARSx32 is all about function, and you can also program it with unlimited voice commands to customize how you use your computer. I even experimented using wi-fi microphones so from another part of the house I could tell my computer to, for instance cease playing current music and play something randomly by another artist of my choosing.

You all have such cool ring tones! Sadly I just have the ones that come with my iPhone (night owl and tri-tone) because no one ever calls me:( They all text.
