Recent Game Purchases

Two months later, the front loader NES is still working flawlessly. I also bought a four way component splitter so my NES, Super NES, Nintendo 64 and GameCube are all connected to my TV via component cables. I also bought component cables for my Genesis, but I guess I ordered the ones for the Model 2 instead of the Model 1 I also picked up a power strip with rotating outlets, so I have all my systems plugged into the same power strip at the same time.

Also, I ordered a few more NES games:

Batman
Ducktales
Tiny Toon Adventures

and Super Mario Land for the Game Boy

Picked up a used Sega Dreamcast and Nintendo GameCube this weekend. Also plunked down $19 for a Microsoft Developer Account so I can play around with emulation on my Xbox Series S.

I finally managed to pick up a Series X... AT RETAIL PRICE!!

I'd read Gamestop was going to have some yesterday (in store), so I drove to the one closest to my house. They were lined out the ass. So, I drove to the next town down and there were a few people outside so I stood in line, assuming they'd only have like three or four. Turns out they had nineteen! So, I finally got to snag one. Haven't opened it yet. I'm wanting to finish Far Cry New Dawn before I start a new game. Then, I'll probably get Game Pass and try either Forza Horizon 4 or Quantum Break.

Edit: I'm kinda torn if I want to hook it up in the living room on my OLED tv (which is starting to show SEVERE burn in ) or in my computer room, where I have a 27" QLED 144hz gaming monitor

I was close to also getting Blaster Master but the label was kinda crappy and worn out on it.

Edit: I've kinda been on a SunSoft kick lately, so I guess I'll also need to pick up Gremlins 2: The New Batch
