7/10. I like the image -- it's a pretty cool shot. But the only thing I enjoyed about that entire movie was alleviating my own boredom by singing the "Pinky and the Brain" theme song every time the villain and his little henchman were on screen.
7/10. It's odd, but it's unique and instantly recognisable as you. I like it when I can identify posters by avatar alone; it becomes part of the you that I know, if that makes sense.

Yeah, the association between avatar and poster can be particularly powerful, and if a single avatar image has been used for long enough, there's also the side-effect of associating the image in the avatar more with the poster than with the original context.
If only I could decide on a single avatar... so many to choose from... Each time I choose one, I say to myself, "That's the keeper, I'm not changing it anymore." Yet...
Incidentally, my current one is a keeper, and I'm definitely not going to change it anymore.
