Quark's Best Line.

Mother, get your close off, you're embarrassing yourself

1st time I heard that, ROFLMAO

"Whatever happened to the survival of the fittest? Whatever happened to the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer? Whatever happened to pure, unadultered greed?"

Okay, it's a speech. So what? ;)

On beaming Odo to the docking ring...

"Don't worry!

I must have witnessed the procedure dozens of times... Energising"

The look on Odo's face is superb. But Quark had so many good lines that you can't really pick a favourite. The 'box' scene in Way of the Warrior must always rank highly.

WE'RE HELPLESS, WE'RE HARMLESS! WE JUST WANT TO SELL YOU THINGS! in Little Green men, and countless others spring to mind.

I like his little exchange with Garak in "Way of the Warrior".

Quark: I want you to try something. It's an Earth drink. Root beer.
Garak: I couldn't...
Quark: Go on.
Garak: It's vile!
Quark: It's so happy and bubbly and cloy.
Garak: Just like the Federation.
Quark: You know what's worse? If you drink enough of it, you start to like it.
Garak: It's insidious.
Quark: Just like the Federation.

He had a ton of great lines though.

One of Armin Shimerman's favorites:

Let me tell you something about hew-mans, nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time... And those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people, will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon. You don't believe me? Look at those faces, look at their eyes...

(from Siege of AR-558)

Little Green Men, where Nog brings up his federation encyclopedia that he recieved as a gift as states something to the effect, "Doesn't Gabriel Bell look alot like Sisko?" and Quark just throws it to the side and says, "All Hew-mans look the same." I thought that was great.

What's the quote Quark does about Root Beer? I remember laughing out loud, but now I can't remember what exactly he said?!?

Garak takes a drink of root beer]
Quark: What do you think?
Elim Garak: It's vile.
Quark: I know. It's so bubbly and cloying and happy.
Elim Garak: Just like the Federation.
Quark: And you know what's really frightening? If you drink enough of it, you begin to like it.
Elim Garak: It's insidious.
Quark: Just like the Federation.

Seconded!

I thought it was Quark talking just like Picard from ST:FC:

"I don't care. I'm not going to preside over the demise of
Ferengi civilization. Not me. The line must be drawn here --
this far and no further."

THAT's the one lol. I laughed so hard when he said that.

There was a scene where he talks to Sisko about the Ferengi, comparing them to Humans. He points out how far less bloody Ferengi history has been compared to Humans. I don't remember the exact words, but that exchange stayed with me, and elevated the Ferengi in my opinion.

I think I know which one you're talking about; I believe it was in The Siege of AR-558. Yet another reason that episode was amazing.

He has another such scene in the episode where Sisko takes Jake and Nog to the Gamma Quad to do a planetary survey for science class and Sisko and Quark get captured by the Jem'Hadar. And I totally don't remember the name; it's probably something blindingly obvious like The Jem'Hadar. :)
