Let me tell you something about hew-mans, nephew. They're a wonderful, friendly people, as long as their bellies are full and their holosuites are working. But take away their creature comforts, deprive them of food, sleep, sonic showers, put their lives in jeopardy over an extended period of time... And those same friendly, intelligent, wonderful people, will become as nasty and as violent as the most bloodthirsty Klingon. You don't believe me? Look at those faces, look at their eyes...

Quark: What do you think?
Elim Garak: It's vile.
Quark: I know. It's so bubbly and cloying and happy.
Elim Garak: Just like the Federation.
Quark: And you know what's really frightening? If you drink enough of it, you begin to like it.
Elim Garak: It's insidious.
Quark: Just like the Federation.
THAT's the one lol. I laughed so hard when he said that.Xeris said:
I thought it was Quark talking just like Picard from ST:FC:
"I don't care. I'm not going to preside over the demise of
Ferengi civilization. Not me. The line must be drawn here --
this far and no further."
I think I know which one you're talking about; I believe it was in The Siege of AR-558. Yet another reason that episode was amazing. :thumbsup:sbk1234 said:
There was a scene where he talks to Sisko about the Ferengi, comparing them to Humans. He points out how far less bloody Ferengi history has been compared to Humans. I don't remember the exact words, but that exchange stayed with me, and elevated the Ferengi in my opinion.
