Prenatal Vitamins and Manboobs

So, on a dare today from a lady friend, I took some prenatal vitamins. I figured "Hey vitamins are vitamins, I was out of mine and said "what the hell"

Mind you, she's not pregnant, she takes them because she says they make her skin all nice and stuff. I don't know how much of that is true, since as far as I know, it's just extra Folic Acid, Calcium and Iron. The iron is good for me anyway since I'm in the minority of guys in that I'm anemic.

But, my real worry is, am I going to be growing man-boobs now because of this?

Any other guys ever take prenatal or other girl vitamins? And for the people in the know, compared to men's vitamins, do they lack any important stuff that's in the men's version?

I ask this because I'm cheap and my regular vitamins don't go on sale till Nov 1st, so I'm trying to hold out, but I also don't like being without a good vitamin.

One of my old co-workers took prenatal vitamins to help grow his hair out. I noticed no increase in the size of his boobs.

I've got nothing in the way of advice on prenatal vitamins, but if you want I'll be your lamaze coach and feed you ice chips when the time comes.

The iron content is going to be rather high and that's not very good for you, as a non-pregnant male. It's generally women who need iron supplements. You'll get constipated and stuff, and it increases your risk of heart disease.

Also, if you have a vitamin B12 deficiency, the folic acid will mask that, which is bad. But you're in good shape, I'd assume you don't have such a deficiency in the first place.

As a short-term stopgap, I doubt it will hurt you. I wouldn't do it for more than a month or two though. You won't grow manboobs, but you might be uncomfortable in other ways.

The only other difference is that pre-natal vitamins tend not to include Vitamin A because too much of that can be dangerous to a foetus and isn't really necessary for the mother.
