Mines not a biggy. My birthday will be next Friday and usually I go out on that date and treat myself to something . The last week and a half we have had unseasonably hot weather which is not the norm for this time of year. I am praying I will have a reasonably nice day that day.

Not well. It unfortunately has sparked a mental health crisis and caused her to need to go back to the hospital. We don't know exactly what's going on and just letting professionals to step in.
I'm so sorry. We are praying for you and her and your family.
Dang it I'm going to ask........ I hope this doesn't sound selfish or inappropriate......
I've been doing photos for at least the last 10 years or more on and off, over that time I have met a ton of models and shot them, though a lot of photos have been lost in several computer moves and me being stupid and never saving or backing up files, a lesson I have since learned the hard way.
I left Facebook in 2023 and never looked back, kept instagram but then left that too and only in late December I went back on that in the hopes of making new contacts for shoots. I have currently 2 people I am in touch with online and out in the real world and they are always happy to shoot with me I'd like some more to come across my way.
The thing with instagram though is you just do not know if a profile you looked at or messaged is a real or fake profile as it is these days. So a lot of messages go unanswered, ignored or if they do reply they seem just rude that you bothered their time, despite their profile advertising as "I'm a model looking for shoots" blah blah........
So I guess I'm wanting to pray for more genuine, nice people to come across my path and do maybe 3 or 4 shoots this year and then call it quits. I was going to quit photography last year but Ivy my best friend said "keep trying" so here I am. The desire is there but my heart sometimes doesn't feel in it. I mainly shoot editorial style so mainly clothes shoots, not the usual bikini, lingerie or such that 99% of other male photographers do. I have a look and style I know and that's what I wish to stick with.
Anyway I hope this is ok to ask here.

We thank you. My in laws came up and did their best but she has opted for her own path and is moving out of our property and not really wanting much to do with my wife, myself or her grandmother.
Not sure what twist this took because several months ago we were working together fine but now it's just a lot of pain and worry and frustration.

I usually encourage people to find local farmers markets to at least do one showcase of their work, hand out business cards or website links, and build connections.
But, prayers for sure.
I used to have business cards but I stopped doing that as people didn't take to it some of the time.
I get that. It depends greatly on the market and their interest. I've seen several different options at the markets my wife does so it popped in to my mind.
But, still praying for positive connections.
Same here.... I mean it can't hurt can it?
