Isn't the Aquarium brilliant? I went there a couple of times, and I had a fantastic time. I love the shallow tanks where you can pet the rays!
What do you think of Genoa? I have friends living there, so I visit about once a year. Can't say I like the city too much: the city centre with its few large streets and uncountable caruggi is quite scenic, but the rest of the city is rather chaotic, if not dowright ugly. And let's not talk about the elevated highway passing just a few metres from the façade of historic buildings...
Ripley's Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, SC has similar tanks. I was there in March and saw something you might like -

*giggles hysterically* Sorry, TD. Actually, I've pulled off that stunt before. Not really deliberately, though, but unconsciousely, rather. Guess it's because I have a typically male job. Or because I'm usually a rather strong woman (not lately though, since my landlady drives me nuts and I need all my energy *not* to kill her). Plus I've had to fight for myself (and for others) all my life and perhaps that shows more than I was aware of.
There are a few males that can confirm that I react all female under - ahem.. - certain circumstances

Well, to tell you the truth, I expected smth more spectacular, I found it small, didn't had all the sharks I wanted to see
and I expected to see a big tank in the open air with the dolphins playing. They had only 2!what I liked more: the jellyfish
I already have 1 tropical fish aquarium inside and a redfish pool in the garden at home
I didn't like the city much, especially the streets near the sea. What I liked was the city seen from up the hills. The food wasn't very good, maybe bec I don't like pesto genovese..and probably we chose the wrong restaurants..
I never had a problem with the food there, but I could survive on a steady diet of pesto and focaccia genovese, so I'm probably biased.
I could eat anything too,but my stomach doesn't always agree with me. The first day I had a Pizza with hot salami. Had half a l of oil on it,and the salami wasn't hot 
when I asked pasta, they had basil in every sauce they made. Too much basil,if you ask me. Did found a nice home made pasta place in Via Dante,though
