And the California Rivalry gets renewed in the Playoffs. Sweet.

Very much looking forward to this series. Both teams don't have to travel far too which is good.

Well, my game-watching group has decided to jump on the Habs bandwagon.

*looks forward to the playoffs*

All the Flyers had to do was tie to have home ice.

Oh well, it'll be fun to crush the Pens either way.

Well, the Habs won last year.

I'm pleased to see the Battle of Pennsylvania this year - last year, we came pretty close (if the Sens had just gotten one more point) to having the Battle of Pennsylvania and having the two national capitals playing each other, as well as having New York/New Jersey and Habs/Bruins.

Edmonton Oilers General Manager Steve Tambellini announced today the club has relieved Craig MacTavish of his head coaching duties.
You knew it was coming down; but I suppose that in the back of the mind of Oil Country was the thought that indeed nothing would happen. But here we are!

So we're actually going to have real change now, instead of "real change." I really liked how Tambellini made specific mention that this does not absolve the players from their pitiful performance this year. There's more than enough blame to go around, but this is a great start. I'd expect there to be more moves upcoming throughout the off season.

Either way, I wish MacT all the best wherever he'll end up. I have no doubt that he'll be successful elsewhere.
