Bengals franchise Higgins for the second straight year. This franchise tag thing is not fair to the players at all. Maybe one time is fine but a second time sucks.

Eagles are going to cut Darius Slay.

Jimmy Johnson, 81, is retiring from Fox Sports.

Are half the players in the league seeking trades? Today it's Bengals DE Trey Hendrickson.

Anyone a Jags fan? They're trading Christian Kirk and cutting Evan Engram.

Titans release Harold Landry, their sacks leader.

Commanders release Jonathan Allen.

Browns owner refuses to meet with Myles Garrett.

Seahawks going after Aaron Rodgers?!

Misfiring for Manning.

Although how many college QBs with only one year starting have turned out good in the NFL? I know Trubisky, Richardson, Sanchez and Lance only started one full season.

The Cleveland Browns and Myles Garrett have agreed on a record contract extension that averages $40 million per year and includes $123.5 million in guaranteed money, making the star defensive end the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, sources told ESPN.

Man, those Browns sure seem to want to bankrupt themselves with all the guaranteed money so they can end up sucking.

So all that talk about Garrett never wanting to play for the Browns again and the 49ers might have had a chance to get him was basically for nothing? Money talks, as always.

Seahawks trade DK Metcalf to the Steelers who give him a 5 year, $150 million deal.

Josh Allen gets a reworked contract for six years, $330 million, $250 million guaranteed.

I would have liked to see the Seahawks have gotten Justin Fields in trade. The current crop of quarterbacks available in the draft don't inspire much confidence. Justin Fields would be good to have as a starter if the Seahawks were to draft a rookie; who could be taught under a new system.

Justin Fields is a free agent.

As is Russell Wilson.
