MLB 2025: The A's are Playing Where Now?

I'm looking forward to when the weather gets warmer and these players don't look like they are freezing their tails off. I'm watching these games and seeing the ski masks, gerders, and all that and it just looks so cold. Yet I'm here in the Bay Area where it actually does feel like spring (We have had quite a bit of rain last week and the week before). I hope everyone in the midwest and east manages through this cold and strange weather ok.

44 people died after a roof collapsed at a nightclub in the Dominican Republic. Former pitcher Octavio Dotel is one of the confirmed fatalities. Nelsy Cruz, governor of Monte Cristi, also died. She was Nelson Cruz's sister.

The Pirates' parade of tone deafness marches on. Local station KDKA found Buccos Bricks — a sidewalk outside PNC Park with bricks paid for by fans — in a local building materials recycling facility.

So this happened at Wrigley too - we had (have) a brick there and as the area around the ballpark changed during renovations they replaced it and moved its location. It's actually in a 'better' location now, to be honest, in terms of finding it - right outside the Bleacher entrance.

Which, if the Pirates had been up front and said "Hey, here's this new thing we're going to do with the bricks so they last longer. Hang tight, they'll be back in a couple of months," most folks probably would have been OK with it. Instead, the bricks vanished without notice, and turned up in a dump a month later. Whether he intended to or not, it makes it look like Nutting is flipping fans the bird again.

Watching the Pirates game. Are there like 500 people in the stands?
Looking at Baseball Reference, they don't have attendance stats for today's game yet, but the first two against the Cardinals were way down compared to their series against the Yankees. I'm sure some of that is weekday vs. weekend, but it was also fucking freezing yesterday (37°F) and today (42°F) in Pittsburgh.

Giants avoided the sweep, stayed within distance of LA and San Diego, and gained a little momentum going into New York for the weekend. All in all it could have been worse.

yeap - yikes!

When you can hear individual fans in the stands it's never good. (for ownership)
