Well, like I said earlier, I can see some merit for Hurley and Sayid, but I agree that the other three (especially Jack) don't need anymore pre-crash flashbacks.

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

Well I'm late to the party because I was on vacation when the episode aired Thursday night. Finally watched this weekend. I had read the spoilers so there weren't any big shocks for me, but I will admit that it played out better on screen than how it read. Also when I read about who was in the coffin, I didn't think it was a WTF moment on the same scale as most LOST WTF moments, but I see from the comments in this thread, that most of you really liked it.

Overall, I enjoyed the finale, and it answered those 4 questions I had, and in the process raised a few more. As in, how and why did Locke leave the island, and why was he using a fake name? Beyond that, I've lost a lot of interest for the overall mythology of the show. I'm sure I'll go back to watching it when it returns next year, but LOST has kind of lost (no pun intended) the allure for me. It's just gone on too long I guess.

I assume he used a false name because if he used his real name people would know he was another flight 815 survivor, and they would know the oceanic 6 were lying.

I just wonder if Syied killed him.

I meant to post average but being the tired person I am I must have clicked the one below instead.

Really not sure what all this fuss is about. Sure it was mildly entertaining, and sure it answered.......some questions from S3's finale, but what else? Parts of it were boring, parts were easily seen from about a year ago and I'm not actually sure if anything shocked/suprised me at all.......

The only thing I'm glad about is Desmond surviving....but with Ben due to be on his case anytime soon, thats debatable.

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

Seeing how and why these particular six got off the island, leaving everyone behind and why they were covering things up was a big deal for me. I wanted to see the gaps filled in, because until I saw the finale, I couldn't see how the Oceanic 6 became the Oceanic 6. That's why I loved it.

And to EMH and Jack, gotcha.

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

I didn't look at this list closer before but there are a few things I want to respond to...

- Who visited the other five and what were they told?
We already know Charlie and Eko (and who knows who else) visits Hurley and Claire visits Kate. I'm willing to bet that Nadia visits Sayid after she dies and Jae Lee visits Sun.

- Who was Sayid hired to kill and why?
Various Widmore agents.

- How and why did Nadia die?
Before I thought Ben arranged it as means to get Sayid to work with him, but the finale shows to me that he didn't do that. I'm guessing Widmore was responsible as means to provoke the Oceanic 6. If so, are other Oceanic 6 relatives in danger?

- How did Sun's take-over of her father's cororation go and what did she do?
She's probably using the company's resources to take down Widmore.

- What did Kate do for Sawyer?
Most likely to find Cassidy and Clementine and tell them what happened to Sawyer.

^ I figured on some of that. A lot of stuff is still vague though. I hope we get to see the details and motivations fleshed out with a few good twists and other new developments thrown in.

Naw. Nadia wasn't on the island. Neither was Jae Lee (I'm assuming he's the guy Sun had an affair with?)

While that's true, I don't see any reason for the Island not to take their form. Sure they weren't on the Island, but so what?

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

The black horse wasn't on the island either, it didn't stop it appearing there.

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

I suppose. And, all these ghosts are telling the Losties to go back?

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

Looks like everyone on Lost and BSG is having visions these days.

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

Wouldn't it be funny if the intended final revalations for both Lost and BSG were very, very similar and the people behind both shows had no clue. Whichever one airs last, the writers would be pissed.

The horse was physically there as stated by Cuse & Lindelof. If you remember, horses were present at the Flame.

The two shows are crossing over, actually. Where do you think Galactica's going land once they reach Earth? Jacob is the Cylon God.

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

What's the connection between the Oceanic Six and the Final Five Cylons? :D

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

Christian Shepherd is the Final Cylon! ;)

Re: Lost Season Four Finale: "There's No Place Like Home, Parts II & I

Will the Colonials find Earth or will Locke move it? That's how he got off the island!!!

The Island is the final Cylon!

And the last episode of BSG will explain just how the final Cylon made it to Earth. Dammit, Helo, you're such a blabbermouth!
