Kathleen Kennedy Damaging Star Wars....?

Hate always needs a justification, factual or not.

If he was going to quit, it would have been on Attack of the Clones. Not because of the ST. That's a ridiculous assumption.

John Williams sat out working on the theatrically released Clone Wars movie. And Rogue One.

Obviously, Star Wars has already been ruined for 10 years now. No other possible reasons apply!

This video is the same fucking bullshit as this video and a couple of other videos full of disappointed white racist/sexist/queerphobic neocon Trumpanzee assholes who can't stand any social change in entertainment, and so have to come up with bullshit about the franchise being ruined and the Maker knows what else.

I say we go back in time and make sure Star Wars never happens.

That will show 'em!

Then all sci-fi will have is 2001, literary sci-fi, sci-fi properties like Star Trek, Planet Of The Apes, and the studios would collapse completely; it was Star Wars, That's Entertainment, Jaws, and the Irwin Allen movies that saved the American (and some would say world) movie industry, as people seemed to be getting tired of what the Young Turks of the late-60's/early '70's movie scene were putting out (with this song voicing said discontent.);)

John Williams?!? The man is 86 years old! He’s done EIGHT Star Wars films, soon to be NINE! What do you want him to do? Do these until he’s dead? The man can retire from doing Star Wars movies, you know.

As can Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Billy Dee Williams (the latter two obviously accidentally as one died and the other seems to be incapable of being Lando.)

There’s also a fairly large list of irrefutably mind-numbing drek, that DOES happen to feature Luke Skywalker.

TLJ isn’t on said list. Thank mother-fucking Christ.

The stuff with Luke, Rey, and Kylo Ren is the good stuff in TLJ. It's the stuff with everyone else that's bad.

I liked TLJ precisely because I didn't get what I wanted/expected.

Kor
Exactly so. It din't meet my expectations. It subverted them, and showed me something different and took me along for the ride. I'm still invested in Rey, in Finn, in Poe and want to see them succeed, but I didn't expect their story to go this way. It isn't bad writing just because I don't expect something to happen.
