Ah, good ol' Geeks + Gamers. He is a Level One Fuck Stick. Look at his playlists. He uploads 2-3 videos a day of this toxic shit. Star Wars deserves criticism but this guy can only present his uninteresting arguments in a whiny, unpleasant way. There's another Star Wars Negativity vlogger channel who has a shtick going around to toy shops admonishing sequel era toys and mocking the overflow of inventory.

When RedLetterMedia takes down Star Wars I have tears in my eyes from laughing too hard, but this guy - he's about as funny as cancer. And yet, look at his individual video views... clearly there is a demand for this.

Well look at the RT audience score for The Last Jedi and you'll understand why the demand is there. Even mainstream Youtube shills like Collider and Beyondthetrailer mentioned that it's suddenly 'cool' to 'hate on Star Wars' because of the divisive reception to TLJ.

RLM is brilliant. Waiting for the Plinkett review for TLJ, I know they'll make fun of both sides and the people in charge.

No one suggested this guy started the conspiracy theory. But just because someone cites an article does not mean it’s fact. Follow the thread of information. Something you’ve obviously not done.

The video is an opinion piece which cites an article that is an opinion piece which cites another article that is an opinion piece that cites a YouTube video which offers no citations at all, which makes it, you guessed it, an opinion piece.

In the original video, this Mike Zeroh posits the idea of the film ending as Luke looks at the sunset on Anch-To and yes, suggests the idea that Colin Trevorrow wanted this to happen and was fired because of it, but where’s his evidence? I don’t know who this guy is. I have no reason to trust him or whatever sources he didn’t cite. Neither Lucasfilm nor Trevorrow has spoken up. So why should I trust later tellings of the story?

I hate to break it to you but the reasons that you and these articles and videos tout as fact are nothing but rumor and speculation is one reason. It’s called clickbait. Please point me to a citation that doesn’t point to another opinion piece. Even if it’s “sources say” (something I trust less and less these day) but would accept, albeit grudgingly, here.

So, yes, while I do have a disdain for people posting clickbait articles and videos, whether that be Midnight’s Edge (which has developed a huge following by offering “rumors” as news much of which has been proven false [i.e. Discovery]) and now this Gamers and Geeks Guy, this is a conspiracy theory because so many people are pushing an agenda to try to oust the current people in charge at LFL because the events in TLJ didn’t happen the way they want. This is also prime examples of rumor mongering and confirmation bias.

Show me a source that has actual news and maybe we’ll find some common ground but for now, this is all rumor and speculation. And yes, conspiracy theory.

She's a mother wolf protecting her cubs and keeping it all tight to the vest which suffocates creativity just to ensure making money somehow anyway. There's no story in these new trilogies - no new theme. The old trilogies had the generational gap wars - the rebellion verses the establishment with the love story of a rogue pirate who loves a princess. The second one was about the rise and fall of Darth Vader of which I didn't like the third installment as I didn't neither with the original trilogy but at least they had stories.

Tony Gilroy spoke up on the Rogue One reshoots. If I were Colin Trevorrow or Lord and Miller, and there was actual drama to tell that wouldn’t make me look like a whiny bitch, I would. And frankly the stupid action figure motif that goes through several of these articles are whiny bitch arguments. Be a man. Deal with the hand that your dealt.

Is Kennedy ruining STAR WARS? I don't know. I think it's too soon to tell. Right now, I have mixed feelings about her leadership of Lucasfilm.

One, I like Attack of the Clones, as I have stated a few times. It's my favorite prequel film.

Secondly, John Williams filed a formal complaint with one of the guilds due to the way he had to work on Attack of the Clones as the edit constantly changed, and he had to constantly rescore the film.

Finally, please don't assume that I'm assuming something. I try to be fair when stating my opinions.
