Well, that was enjoyable - and I'm now ready and anticipating a future Mr Benn (and that mysterious Shopkeeper) / Doctor Who crossover - whether tv episode, animated episode, or audiobook...

Though preferably adventures on all 3 formats...

Nope. That would be Capaldi's second season. This is light years better than what we got there.

That red banner by the thread's title means we don't need to use spoiler tags within the thread. Though I should think common sense would dictate that if you're worried about spoilers, you shouldn't click on a thread for an episode you haven't watched yet. But I understand common sense isn't at all common.

When I asked my question, there was no red banner. So this thread really is a farce.

I'm reasonably certain the Spoiler banner was there when the thread started, and I'm sure Nth Doctor can back me up on this. At the very least, a moderator can tell if the Spoiler banner was there all along or was added at a later point. So if you feel there's an issue here, feel free to notify the mod and have them sort it out.

Well, this one didn't grab my attention. Just meh. Not horrible but my attention wandered. I thought the best parts were with Anita and the slow way around.

I'm glad it sounds like most people liked it more than I did!

With or without a spoiler tag I avoid any thread of something I haven't seen yet.

I forgot to mention, and this is a touch petty I know, but know what else I loved about Joy to the World? The fact that Ncuti was in his (supposed) main outfit! He looks so good and so Doctorish in it!

I also liked the little scene where he puts the coat on, realises he's done so and that this means he's subconsciously picked up on something that needs the Doctor.

Yup. I always have the Spoiler tag in the thread title whenever I create a episode discussion thread. That's especially true in this forum.

They only time I change tags mid-discussion are for anticipation threads for shows that become discussion threads for a whole season (or series), such as Stranger Things or The Umbrella Academy.
