Inevitable : Star Trek XI Delayed

I told you so. I could feel this in my bones. I have consolation Puddin' Pops on ice.

But next week is the start date to film principal photography on Trek XI and it's due out in theatres next Xmas? So, that's about 13 months from now?

A huge SFX picture? In one year. I don't think so. It would be a miracle if it holds steady to it's release date.

But of course the delay has nothing to do with any of these things, or even with "Star Trek" itself. It's a matter of studio administration and marketing that affects a number of films.

I guess it doesn't matter what reason the movie is delayed, as long as someone gets to say, "nanny-nanny Boo-boo!"
