How Much Time Do You Spend Playing Video Games?

How much time a day do people on here spend playing video games?
What is the longest single play session you've ever done?
I usually spend 1 - 3 hours in the morning each day, and sometimes if I get really bored in the afternoon I'll often go back and play do another play session about the same amount of time. I tend to spend a bit more time on RPGs and/or Open World games since it tends take a bit longer to get from place to place and actually complete missions and quests.
I'm not sure about my longest play session, probably about 6 hours or so.

Going off my list of unfinished games, not enough:D

I go through phases so recently, I've had a couple of hour sessions, but with certain RPGs, a lot longer. I think the longest session with one of those was possibly closer to nine or ten (though with breaks).

On the other hand, I can go months without playing any game so it does vary.

Hi All
My gaming is done usually around 3 am when everyone is asleep. That's the only time I'm able to do any gaming on my own. With twin Daughters & my Wife, along with work, it's about the only time I can do so.

Not as much as I want to in this down time. My modem got forked over and the ISP won't come to replace it (literally got asked if anyone in the apartment had corona, and no follow up). Waiting until this blows over (June?) to install some games...but even then, my laptop is not up to the task. Gotta get a desktop.

I did manage to squeeze in a few low MB games but I quickly soured with them, but I was giving them a go. Eight hours in one sitting, like in the old days. Now if only they were fun, I might still be doing 8. Dark Quest 2 turns into a big meat shield by the last four levels, The World of Terrifying Silence Mod for OpenXcom ramps up the difficulty by capping your capability far too hard to be enjoyable (by August I hadn't shot down any UFOs!), Spaceland might still be fun but I know I can't get a perfect run on it, so on and so on.

I usually play in the evening after work when i have a "hot" game but rarely for more than 2 hours at a time and there are sometimes days in between where i don't play at all.

Most i ever played was in my late Teenager/early 20s years - being a student with little money means staying in often and i was and still am a strategy game nut so long sessions were not that unusual.
Longest was a game of either Sim City or Civilization - started in the afternoon/evening and stopped when it became bright again outside ;)

Way too much time playing Madden NFL 20 during the shutdown. I have it on two different consoles.

I usually have one gaming appointment with a buddy of mine per week for 3-4... ish hours, plus the wife and I sometimes do a co-op session of similar length - so the average is probably somewhere in the 6 hours / week range

Usually, I will spend about 1-2 hours a day. Through quarantine, playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey, I would play 4-8 hours a day. Now that I'm back to work and the gym, I'm down to about 2-4 hours a day. Now, back in my teens and early to mid-20s, it'd be nothing to play for 6-8 hours at a time (but those days are long gone :( )

Less than I used to. And not nearly as many marathon all night game sessions that left my eyes and brain feeling all funny. Must be getting old.
