Why was House upset at Cuddy's news?

I'd say a combo of him not being asked to try and father her child and not being asked to be a reference. Can't say I blame Cuddy for the latter.;)

Excellent episode, titillation aside (which was great -BTW ;).

It was fun seeing House and Wilson back in regular form.

Awesome.

I love 13.

I still kind of like Argyle Sock PI guy. I think his series will be interesting if/when he gets it.

POTW was an intersting story and her and 13 had some good, touching, and warm scenes together. (Again, titillation aside.)

I'm still "hoping" for a turn-around on 13's Hutchingtons diagnosis. Either a (completely fictional) cure, discovery that her tests have been false positives or House discovering she has some other condition that caused false positives.

I did note that when House cut the onion that HIS eyes didn't tear up. ;) And he should've cut a red-onion. Those tend to be a bit more potent.

;)

^Even better. House knows it already and he is not telling her just yet, because he needs her that way...

I'm still watching the opening 30 seconds of the episode.

I just keep rewinding it and rewinding it over and over.

I think my DVR is broke.

Combined with House hallucinating Cuddy dancing in schoolgirl outfit last season I don't what I'd do.

And yeah 13 reminds me of Cameron so if we imagine Summer Glau that's 2 for the price of one :techman:

He kept turning his head away, widening his eyes, then dobbed them with a handkerchief afterwards, so I'm pretty sure his eyes did tear up. Of course, that was before he ordered the "artificial tears to maximize the visual impact of this moment."

Yeah, he acted as if he eyes teared up. But the makeup people could've done something to, you know, give him tears if not just actualy cut an onion and force real tears out of him.

;)

Another great episode. The hot titillation aside (which was, well, hot), I loved the character paths for 13, the House/Wilson relationship (I was completely fooled!), and the whole "You're boring, Foreman" thing.

It was great to see House and Wilson antics true to form, but I was surprised by the ending with Cuddy and the adoption. At the same time, I'm glad they've returned to the "Cuddy wants a kid" storyline. Next week look's awesome, especially that last shot from the teaser! ;)

"Another life saved by girl-on-girl action!"

Cuddy adopting a child doesn't surprise me all that much, as the signs have been there. We've seen all kinds of comments from House about her wanting a child. I wonder if her adoption will be "fast-tracked" as television adoptions nearly always are. Or will it even come off? Hard to tell from that teaser.

^Do we know when she applied for adopting a kid? If not, we probably couldn't say it was "fast-tracked".

I was surprised only because we hadn't heard about the "Cuddy wants a kid" storyline in ages (since season 3?).

Assuming the seasons pass like years, it wasn't that long ago that the indication was she was going the route of insemination. Adoption likely wouldn't have been tried unless other avenues had been blocked.

Cuddy wanting a child was first brought up in Season 2; I can't remember if it was again in Seasons 3 or 4.

Good episode. I liked that the lesbian angle wasn't just some cheap titillation but actually had dramatic impact. The Foreman/Chase conversation brought back fond memories of when they were working together on House's team. And it was funny! Also funny was Wilson and House; he really is back.

Now... sit back and wait to see who adds "Another life saved by girl-on-girl action" to their sig first. :p

And there's that last clip where it looked like House and Cuddy was about to kiss.

My favorite line of the night came when House and Foreman were heading into 13's apartment, and Foreman is having a rough time trying to pick the lock:

House: 'You're a disgrace to your stereotype.'

:guffaw::guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

Unfortunately I didn't get to watch tonight because of a student debate :(. I hope it comes up on FOX.COM soon.

Good episode, though it left me feeling rather sad. I also liked the near-development for 13 (it's interesting that they note that her disease is progressing faster rather than slower).

The interaction between Foreman / 13 was also interesting to watch. I almost felt them starting to bond a bit.

I like Lucas, though I"m glad he's not regular enough to be in every week. The show's cast already feels too large to give everyone ample screen time, given the nature of the show. I'd like to see more Kutner development in the near future, come to think of it.

^ Surely it's Kutner's turn in the next 2 or 3 episodes?

This one was excellent. I sometimes wonder if there will be ever an episode of House that isn't at least great.

I got a kick out of the lead-in to that, where Foreman has momentarily triumphed over House when the PI didn't dig up anything... and then House gets back with the "boring" comment just as the elevator doors close.

Now... sit back and wait to see who adds "Another life saved by girl-on-girl action" to their sig first. :p
5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

preview for next weeks episode has Cuddy bring in the mother of her future child, who has complications
