Looks like they took a pic of the Enterprise and ran it through one of those image filters that they use to distort the confirmation numbers you're supposed to enter on certain Websites to prove you're not a computerized bot program.

I remember back when FC came out and eventhough the internet wasn't what it is today, there were still several images posted on the net on ideas and rumors of what the enterprise-e was to look like. None of them were even close to what we saw when the movie finally came out. Oh well.
