Graham is NOT the Doctor

*** DISCLAIMER: Speculation ahead. Get caffeine. ***

Given the current climate by a quantity that I suspect is fewer than what they're labeled as being but I've not made any tallies, I would not be surprised if the scene was a 4th wall break and playing into the Chameleon Arch thing. On one hand it's entertaining, given the precedent set in that 10th Doctor story and put to novel and arguably effective use in "Fugitive of the Judoon". I hope the finale is more brilliant than bunk but either which way, Jo Martin is a Doctor I do want to see again. (and Jodie's had a lot more dialogue worth praising in series 12. Not all the scripts are great, but some definitely were. "Spyfall" was one example, even with the silly laser shoes scene. I do wonder if the Kashyyyykkkkk things, which had a vague outlined visage not unlike Cybermen (as what everyone was not wrongly saying), really were Cybermen gone nutters and are the cause of the Cyber army to eradicate humanity with. But a time travel void would be as very powerful tool, more than a teleporter that can traverse entire galaxies. Add in Doctor Ruth, who had a too-similar teleportation effect and the Master continually harping how everything's a lie...)

But like a certain Walrus song, some scenes are made for the sake of those that look for meaning where none exists.

Either way, I just hope the 14th Doctor is Jo. She rocked the house. And had the better looking TARDIS set too. It's a ship, not Harry Potter's spouse on the great space coaster that always ends back at Earth.

Personally I thought he was just going to say he's just the Doctor's sidekick...

Having just rewatched it a second ago, I thought that, because they had just had a conversation regarding Ravio not understanding Cockney rhyming slang, he was actually starting to say "I'm the dog's..." before realising she wouldn't understand that either and starting over.

.

I just watched Timeless Children, and I still think he might be. When Yaz called him a human and he spluttered, I was hoping for him to have that be the last straw and he'd out himself.

I'm really going to have to go back and rewatch some episodes just to watch Graham. This last episode he was the man with the plan, taking charge and really being the Doctor in the hour of need. Nothing from this episode would say he couldn't be, but we'll probably have to wait until Graham and Ryan's final story to find out, so I'm not in a rush.

There was a moment when she said human wasn't there? Then again if there is something going on here I think Chibnall is really dragging it out so maybe we're just seeing things that aren't there?

Maybe we are, maybe I just really want Bradley Walsh as the Doctor. Who can tell? There was definitely a flub in last week's episode. I think it was scripted, or it wouldn't be there.

And this is the internet. If we can't wildly speculate for over a single word in a piece of dialogue in a silly aci fi show with no clue as to whether or not it's relevent, well I don't know. Would you like to talk about knitting? Im designing a new hat for myself. ;)

I knew someone was going to misinterpret that moment. Sometimes a sputter is just a sputter. That's how humans work.
