Free Refit Blueprints WIP.

I just wanted to post this as an addendum to the above, The detail gets muddled a bit when viewed this way, the aztec gets in the way of all the other detail. Also the pdf preserves the vector format so you can zoom in too.
(((removed)))

Excellent Oyl, thanks! I've been trying to work out a way to post high-res shots of each single page and then post links, but since I'm changing webmasters, I'm not able to host them at my site.

Rock on Dude! Keep on Trekkin!

Don't try to get this within the AOHELL browser - it won't download. Paste the link into IE and then you have to skip the stupid video ad.

It did not download for me either. I got the message that the download should start, but it did not. After a brief time I right-clicked on the link that said "If your download does not start click here" and saved the file saucer_082907.pdf to disk.

With these things (like pop-up downloads) it all depends on you browser, firewall, and anti-virus settings.

clicking the download now button should work though. If too many of you still have trouble, I'll look for a better host.

Yes, most. But I use Acrobat, and Distiller as my printer.
so the cad output is what generates my pdf's.

Oyl, can you put the ones up for the TOS Enterprise and post in the Public Resource Enterprise thread, or do you want to work on them some more? Did you get the specs added?

Can do, I havent really gotten into editing it again just yet. Soooo much to do, Soooo few fingers for mouse clicks.... But I already had that data in the spreadsheet you now have, under the Smitsonian's measures

Excellent. Great job on all fronts. Thanks to everyone for thier hard work and dedication!

I'd like to welcome Ron H. to the Refit crew and take this time to thanks him and show his recent contribution. There are also a couple of shots of the nacelle work up from Mr. Anonymous1.

Ron's work on the saucer using what we as a team have put together thus far.

Very Nice looking
Yes, it's all very good looking work. Again, the credit goes to the guys in the trenches. Here's composite of some of the recent work, all in one STB ortho. Unfortunately this doesn't reflect any of Ron H's work, this is mostly Oyl's and Mr. Anon1's work. There are at least three people that whish to have thier contribution remain anonymous. I used imageshack, because I could load up a larger picture without it being automatically resized.

Update: Ron H. has asked me to remove him from the project and remove his pictures. I have honored his request and have to admit, I'm a bit in the dark about this. Sad, truely sad. Well, we shall carry on, in his absense. I have past e-mails and correspondance in case the mods have need of them. Pity.

Now I know why people want to remain anonymous.

In the spirit of fairness, the above mentioned problem was my fault. I provided the images to KTM, but was unclear about when/if/how they could shared.

Apologies all around.

We've got things sorted out and all is good again. It was a mutual misunderstanding all around. The project's moving forward and all is as it should be. Thanks oyl, but it was as much my fault as anyones.

KTM

A quickie update. The nacelles are not neccesarily in scale with the engineering section, this is just to show progress on the pylon. I put this in a BW format to show the work, but not overload the eyes.

There are some updates over here http://forum.zealot.com/t142280-19/
This is Oyl's original thread and this is where we met up. Oyl's a really cool guy and I really appreciate his help and for having worked together with me and a couple of others on this project. It's nice to be able to work with such a decent bunch of guys.

Wish we could all work together like this. Imagine the possibilities.
