PM me. What you can do in AutoCAD is use the SCALE command to bring everything to fit in an 8-1/2 x 11 space and then use the JPGOUT command to do this. Or you could do this in paper space. Or keep everything at a 1:1 ratio and just output the drawings to a PDF set at 8-1/2 x 11. Oh and Im using AutoCAD 2008 so I should be able to read just about anything.KirkTrekModeler said:

Thanks Bernard, I'll pass on the sentiments to everyone involved.
If anyone here can take the .DWG files and output them to a standard sized sheet and output them to a readable.jpg file, I'll gladly send them to you for uploading to this thread.

The drawings kick ass. Id love to get a hold of em. Especially to print out the aztek pattern onto either frisket or shelf paper to use as a painting mask for the physical Polar lights model

Hi, this is OylPslyk.
Just wanted to make an appearance and say hello!
also about an earlier post - Most of the designs by me were actually drawn in DeltaCad, which is actually a .dc format, but I also use PowerCad and AutoCad.
I also hadn't yet seen some of those 3d images of the 2ndry hull yet all put together, looks great!
While the file all those images are based upon is very recend, we have been making many changes of late, and once more completed drawings are availabe, I can provide pdf's for the thread rather than jpegs, so you can all get a closer look.
Anyway, I'm glad to see we are recieving such a warm welcome! we have been puting an enourmous amount of effort into this! I look forward to your future comments and suggestions!
thanks again, Oyl.

Very well done. I see you are doing the -A. Will you being doing a set/version of the Refit herself? The Refit from TMP is my favorite.
Again great work!

Impressive!
I like how you show the saucer without the rest of the ship. This is something I wish tech-artists/mechanical drawing specialists would do with other starship schematics as well. I'd love to see highly detailed drawings of the TOS 1701 in separated mode, as well as with the saucer's landing gear extended. It would also be cool to see this for the Enterprise-B, -C, -D and -E, but I doubt anyone will ever bother. Looks like an awful lot of hard work!
Will you be doing deck plans to go with these external images?
I love '08. To be honest though Im using 08LT but am upgrading to full blow AutoCAD 08 as soon as AutoDesk runs an upgrade promotion. Oh and yes, I basically bought a new laptop to run it. Sorry for dragging this offtopic.Bernard Guignard said:
