Jeb Bush has long been considered the political leader with the most potential in the entire Bush family
In regards to the first President Bush, he was denounced as a "lightweight" by NY Mayor Ed Koch and the widespread assumption was that he was not that great a nominee to take over after Reagan.
Gore had the advantage of public sympathy for President Clinton, the Clinton era "peace & prosperity" (supposedly), and a flawless personal background for himself, while George W. Bush was badly mauled in the primaries by John McCain.

No one has presented any evidence whatsoever as to why the American people would not elect Jeb Bush president.
Heck, had George W. Bush been eligible to run again he probably would've gotten 45% against Barack Obama at least.

You haven't explained yet why you'd want another Bush in this office besides pissing off liberals. Out of all the millions of Republicans all over the country, don't you think the party could find a few competent candidates who aren't starting the race with the millstone of being related to W hanging around their neck?
