I would think that after two Bushes in the White House that even the biggest yahoo would be reluctant to vote for another one! America is suffering from Bush fatigue.

Considering W's approval rating isn't "0" I wouldn't be surprised if... "more simple" America would vote in another Bush because "he's the only one who can protect us from those brown people who want to kill us!"

Perhaps another Bush would be good afterall... always need new SNL material

George Prescott Bush (Jeb's son) lives here in the Dallas area, and he's clearly being groomed for politics. He's half-Hispanic (his mother, Columba, is Mexican), he is apparently fluent in Spanish, he's an attorney and reportedly an incredibly charming and smart guy.

However, the Bush name is political death right now (even here in Texas), so I imagine that he'll bide his time. In 5-10 years, perhaps, I can see him making a run at Congress.

George Prescott Bush would make a fine first hispanic potus in my opinion. Of course I think it's probably not his time to run yet. Perhaps they could float one of the Bush daughters or perhaps daughter-in-laws to run for higher office and to restore the image of the Bush name first. Then George P. Bush can make his run starting from the bottom and making his way to the top like George and Jeb. I know that support for the Bush family is still strong especially in Texas and since both Bush presidents live there, I think the support can only grow stronger.

Just because a war has been won doesn't mean the shooting stops, everyone goes home, and all is right with the world.

The U.S. lost TWICE as many soldiers in the Philippines fighting insurgents there after the Spanish-American War was OVER.

The U.S. lost thousands of soldiers fighting in the Russian Civil War (an extension of events in WWI) after World War I was OVER.

The U.S. lost thousands of soldiers throughout the Pacific Theatre after Japan surrendered in World War II.

After the war was OVER.

So we signed a peace treaty with the terrorists?

People like you are the reason this country is the way it is.

I've been pondering your last statement and do not understand your reasoning.

The U.S. is the worlds largest superpower with an economy larger than the next two combined and the strongest military.

So the "country is the way it is" would seem to be far from insulting.
