For those who want a uniform DVD cover…

I recently bought Star Trek at Target - the version that comes in the Enterprise packaging. And while the ship is an excellent little display model, it isn’t super practical as a DVD holder. So I decided to place the disks in a normal DVD case.

I tried to find a good scan of the regular release’s DVD cover, but I couldn't find one. That’s when I got the idea to design my own cover in the style of the “Special Collector’s Edition” Star Trek DVDs. I think it turned out well enough, and I really like how it matches the other 10 Trek DVDs.

I thought I’d post it here in case anyone else wanted to do the same.

Can you do one that fits in a Blu-Ray case?

(the existing Blu-Ray has that stupid cardboard sleeve, and I always throw those away. Unfortunately, the actual disc packaging under it, only has pictures of Pine and Quinto)

Another place to find DVD covers, both OEM and created, is: www.cdcovers.cc . It comes in handy when transferring VHS tapes to DVD format, etc. There is also a Blu-Ray section.
