Favorite Sport to Watch

So what's your favorite sport to watch. Personally, while I enjoy playing many sports, I can't stand to watch them on the TV. I'd rather watch paint dry. The exception though is watching rodeo. From bull riding and bronc bustin to barrel rdiing and for the kids goat roping, I enjoy watching just about any rodeo event. While I don't follow it fanatically, just about anytime I find a rodeo event on tv, I'm glued to the set watching. So what about the rest of you?

The #1 thing for me to watch on tv sports wise is hockey. Nothing beats hockey live but if you cant get to a game then tv isnt so bad either.

I also don't mind watching curling however thats more an if I see it on/I remember to watch it type thing.

I cant stand watching golf, baseball, or American Football on tv because of the lack of action. Those are more of a live and in person thing for me.

Baseball for me. Nothing to me is more exciting then a clutch hit, or a strike out during a game in an important situation.

Your Canadian is showing. :p

I enjoy watching any sport if I'm watching it with somebody who plays (or used to play) the sport, so they will provide interesting information. One of my housemates is a former figure skater, so we watch a lot of that.

I can't stand curling because there's not enough (or, really, any) action.

Hockey, of course, but that goes without saying because it's the only sport I follow.

It's gotta be (American) football for me-- college or pro; I enjoy them both. I watch a lot of sports on TV, though, and I enjoy watching them all, provided I like the sport in the first place.

That's gotta be football. Though I think it's a rather unfair way to decide which's the better team, a penalty shoot-out after prolonged playtime is just nerve-wrecking. And if it's in the world or European cup, then.. Damn that's exciting.

I find many sports interesting to watch when they are being played at a high level. The athleticism alone often is impressive. Football (soccer) is clearly #1 for me and I often watch snooker (if that counts as a "sport" ;)). But if I see volleyball, cycling, ice hockey, american football, and even stuff like table tennis, ski jumping or curling, etc. on tv, i usually enjoy watching it too.

I find basketball extremely boring though, and I haven't watched many baseball games but from what I've seen I guess you have to be drunk close to unconsciousness to find it somewhat interesting.

Playoff hockey would slightly edge out college football for my favorite, but regular season hockey would lose narrowly. Since my access to college football is a lot better than hockey, I declare college football my favorite.

I don't watch much but I like to watch racing now and again . . . none of that redneck nascar stuff though. I prefer F1 or sports car/touring/ALMS and rally racing

I also like going to watch the local AAA baseball team at the stadium about once a year

Playoff Hockey
The first two weekends of the NCAA Tournament (Basketball)

As for regular season, it has to be NFL Football.

Rugby union, best sport in the world (in my opinion obv) and doesn't have all the bollocks that is associated with football (UK).

Definitely baseball. I have become heavily into it lately. I'm not a fanatic, but I do actively enjoy watching the games. And I love seeing them live, especially in New York.

Football? Not so much. The only football team I watch with anything remotely resembling interest is the Nebraska Cornhuskers. And even so, I find football a lot less interesting to watch than baseball.

Although I did enjoy watching XFL games when they were on. Pathetic, innit?

I love watching football (soccer)...with a group of people, its always a good way to pass the time and so much emotion .

Also being very ENGLISH, I tend to watch a little of cricket (international Tests - ENG), Rugby Union (ENG international) and the ruder cup.

Also past 3 years I have enjoyed watching the Superbowl with having American night (lots of food lol)

Probably the NFL for me. Baseball is a very close second, but I love watching both sports on tv.

Now, for live events, baseball and hockey are my top two. Hockey is sooooo much better in person than it is on tv.
