EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK AT BUCK ROGERS!

Beautifully shot, acted and directed. The music conveyed the tone of the scene without being intrusive. A big :techman: to everyone involved.

I am really looking forward to the finished product.

Gerard and Grey are much better actors than I expected them to be. This looks great, can't wait to see more.

A little slow-paced and reminiscent of Star Wars, but well acted on the whole and it is nice to see them (and Bobby) again. Take out a bit of filler in the editing room and it is definitely quite promising.

This was marvoulous, thoughtful and suprisingly devolped. Gil came off as grit real and very solidly believeable, while Erin Greys performace was very moving and real. I think this a vehicle that all fans can get behind and not feel like you need to push!

Finally a franchise for a thinking fan!

Very nice! Can't wait to see the whole thing. The slight sepia-tone to the image is a great touch.

OK, YMMV, but I felt this was perfectly paced. It's a character moment, set in a slower, simpler time. Obviously if it was like this all the way through there'd be a problem, but as long as the pace picks up for the jetpack and rocketship scenes things should be alright.

I'm actually intrigued to see how this comes out.

It's the Phase II team's work. They are ridiculously talented and hardworking. It will be amazing. The only open question is if any of the people at the TV and Cable networks realize they should negotiate for an order of multiple episodes from this the team ... for money.

Very nice.

My roommate made an interesting point though. Did you guys shoot Gil and Erin's scenes separately? There's not a single shot in this scene with the two of them together and it's rather (painfully, I might add) obvious. Obviously this is just an advance snippet of the whole picture, but I have to agree with my roommate here -- if you're going to go to all the trouble of getting Gil and Erin to appear in the thing let alone be in the same scene together, after all these years, it's kind of a cheat to not give us that one shot.

Other than that, the performances were quite well done. It didn't feel too hammy or exposition-y. The argument was legit, and was rather reminiscent of Luke's argument with Owen and Beru, even though really, I suppose, THAT argument was originally reminiscent of the original Buck's -- I see what you did there.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the film!

As you indicate, this scene is actually a "breather" from a whole lot of action surrounding it! ;)

James, what format will this show be in? This is the first I've heard of it. Is it going to be an actual television program?
