Excellent Guest Stars Of ENTERPRISE...

Farscape One

I started this thread for VOYAGER, but it works for every series.

Casting is a very important part of any television/movie production. You can have a brilliant script, phenomenal sets, superb visual effects... but if roles are not cast right, it can spoil an otherwise flawless production.

The main cast is obviously at the center, but there are guest stars who come in for an episode that are not only great in the role, but elevate the entire episode... even outshining the leads. Or have such great chemistry with soneone else that you really wish they appeared more.

I am curious to see who everyone here thinks were extraordinary guest stars.

I will start.

"FALLEN HERO" - Fionnula Flanagan, as Ambassador V'Lar. I thought she elevated the script with her performance, and she played off really well with all the regular cast, particularly T'Pol. It was a shame we didn't get to see her again.

Romulan Trilogy (Babel One, United, The Aenar): Great Brian Thompson as Admiral Valdore. He would be a unforgettable, unique villain, if we got Romulan War at the show. :weep:

^^ Ditto Jeffrey Combs. The Archer/Shran dynamic was priceless. Also the bickering of Shran/T'Pol, and the poignancy of Shran/Jhamel.

I adored Shran. I would have loved him as a regular in Seasons 5-7. We were all robbed. :sigh:

I really liked Jeffert Combs as Shran he did a great job playing that role I wish we could've had seven seasons of Enterprise too.

Honestly, I never contemplated Vaughn Armstrong or Jeffrey Combs (or Gary Graham) as guest stars. They are for me leads from second row. At least they have more impact at the show as Anthony Montgomery (which is not his fault).

Not gonna lie, I was delighted to see Scott Bakula's old Quantum Leap co-star Dean Stockwell put in an appearance, even if he was playing a character much less benign than Al Calavicci.

The next one: Beautiful Suzie Plakson as Lieutenant Tarah at Cease Fire.
I evaluate her performance between K'Ehleyr and female Q.

Some notable guest appearances for me, were: (in no particular order)

-Brent Spiner as Dr. Arik Soong. Perfect and logical casting.
-Daniel Dae Kim as Corporal Chang. Really like his guest appearances on ENT and VOY.
-Dean Stockwell as Grat. Sucker for this one. Good to see Bakula and Stockwell back together on screen.
-J.G. Hertzler as Advocate Kolos. It's like this guy was born to play a Klingon.
-Peter Weller as Paxton. Not too many actors played 2 major Trek baddies.
-Steven Culp as Major Hayes. I like this guy. He's a good character actor
-Scott MacDonald as Dolim. I liked his appearance on DS9 as Tosk. His line "I am TOSK!" is sort of the precursor to "I am GROOT!" as the catch-all answer to any question.

Keith Carradine who could've been as good a choice for Enterprise lead.

General Ravon is Malcolm Reed's father! Guy Siner crosses over from the Whoniverse to beget another addition to the black ops brigade...
