DS9 On Pluto TV...

Farscape One

I can't believe I forgot to create this thread. When I saw TOS was on Pluto's STAR TREK channel, channel 270, I created a thread to spread the news.

They play TOS straight through, go to TNG and finish, do TOS again, and rinse and repeat.

As of Sunday night at midnight, DS9 began airing on channel 271, called... MORE STAR TREK.

Right now, "THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR" is playing now. (The syndicated split version.)

They are airing in airdate order. DS9 got their own channel!!! (For now, anyway.)

A correction... they are going in production order, because "HIPPOCRATIC OATH" is playing now directly after "THE WAY OF THE WARRIOR" instead of "THE VISITOR".

And it would lead to "THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS" airing between "IMPROBABLE CAUSE" and "THE DIE IS CAST". However, as I was working during when those episodes would have aired, I have no idea how it will occur with arc episodes.

"THE VISITOR" just finished playing on Pluto. This time, I really tried not to cry.

Did I succeed?

Absolutely not. Like every single other time I have watched this episode, I end up crying like a baby. I have only just wiped away the last tears as I write this.

Production order is okay sometimes, but it leads to Sons and Daughters being shown before Rocks and Shoals. The crew are rescued before they crash.

So? Effect preceding cause should be old hat to Star Trek fans - we've seen it happen before in temporal anomaly episodes :)

My Brother is incarcerated and my best friend. He made some unfortunate decisions in life. Still my best friend. Ohio recently rolled out tablets for every inmate and Pluto TV is on there. Made sure he got it and made sure he knew about DS9! We have a whole new thing to talk about now. Heads up if you have a loved one in the joint.

Pluto TV has brought back DS9 to the MORE STAR TREK channel.

They played VOYAGER from March 1 - June 30, and based on the fact "RAPTURE" is playing right now, it looks like DS9 came back at 3 a.m. on July 1... which was when VGR started on Pluto TV.

So, 3 months of DS9 (one of them being the shortest month of the year), then 4 months of VGR. We'll see how long DS9 stays here, but I hope it is more even.
