Does somebody know what Ship Model this is?

Wow, now that’s an awkward looking design. I think it’s not easy to pull off the “halfway between saucer and sphere” look.

As for who made this: If you look at the comments on this image on Pinterest it was apparently a kitbash made by one Michael Bower Putman aka Feyman Federation Shipyards. He was a prominent figure in the kitbash community in the early 2000s, but I don’t think he ever posted here. And I’m not sure if he’s still active either.

On this design he comments “I was in a Daedalus phase ... so tried an Enterprise era quad nacelles Daedalus variant ...” Unfortunately there aren’t any more pictures of this particular built on his website, presumably because he himself wasn’t really satisfied with the result? But I reckon it might be worth shooting him an email and ask if he still has more pictures of it. :)

The sphere seems to be a kitbashed element from this Perry Rhodan model kit.

Just for fun I tried to clean up the image a bit and give it the whole Photoshop treatment, to better envision what this would have looked like …

Gladly. And if you ever do happen to reach out to Mr. Putman and get more views on this model, please do share them with us here. I would be curious to see them as well. :)

By the way, the funny thing is I did all sorts of convoluted image backwards searches using various services, even came up what I assume is you asking the same question on Reddit – but all to no avail – before finally just clicking on the comments on Pinterest, where the answer was waiting all along. It’s funny how that works sometimes.

It's just a little bit too much for me (maybe it's the four nacelles or the double wings) but I like the overall design idea of the saucer and sphere together. I have never thought of that before.

Perry Rhodan. Now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time . . . a long time.

I remember seeing it plastered on the covers of a lot of science fiction books, back in the 1970s, and thinking it was the author's name, not the main protagonist's. It wasn't until just now, looking up the name on Wikipedia, that I paid much attention to it.
