Do you know what happened to Vaadwaur in Dragon's Teeth ?

Dragon's Teeth is one of the few episodes I like in Season 6. Vaadwaur element had quite potential. Janeway said they will meet with them again. Do you know what happened to Vaadwaur ? They still had lots of ships when we saw them last time.

They said only a few made it to the sub-space corridors, however if a passive species like the Talaxians can survive the hostile Delta Quad.. The Vaadwaur are just bidding their time, gathering new technology and waiting until the time is right to re-emerge.

I always suspected if there was another series that took place after Voyager in the current timeline, we'd see them again there.

Stuff I've read in these forums, they were considered a failure by Braga and/or Berman. They were set up as recurring nemesis, had to be, otherwise the episode was pointless (Voyager with a pointless episode? Surely not!)

The make-up design wasn't great. I mean, cobra neck stuff was different but the faces were mostly standard humanoid.

As I said in my review, I'm really glad that the producers did not follow through on the implication that we would see the Vaadwaur again. They simply were not that interesting as antagonists.

They were of course mentioned in the Void.

I liked it how they treated Neelix like a retarded monkey, but he in turn out smarted them because they underestimated him. Pride before the Fall.

You'd think that after the incident with the clown, that they would be more careful stasis tubes... But Seven made a delightfully acerbic Pandora.

I didn't like their necks. Made them look like a snake. Which was too on the nose for this "waiting to strike" nonsense.
