They're called stereotypes for a reason and stating a 'x is gay' based on essentially non-existent evidence based on stereotypes is ridiculous. There's no real proof. There is assumption based on observation based on (wait for it) stereotype.

I do deny that there was ever a "Wesley is gay" vibe. I'm being completely honest. Not once when I was growing up, did I ever consider Wesley was gay, or acted gay, or gave off some kind of gay "vibe". It didn't matter to me, I watched TNG for the stories and the characters, not their sexual orientation, and that's the truth.

I didn't get any vibe of any kind neither from Wesley Crusher nor from the Traveller. Both characters - in the ways they had been written and acted out - were simply way too drab, lacklustre and annoying (particularly in Wesley's case)...
