There was a talking crow in my grandparents' town when I was a kid. An old guy owned him, but he wandered freely around the town and seemed to like to stop and bother people, especially children, whom he found outside. He would try to get behind kids and peck them. The main thing I remembering him saying was "Watch it!" when he saw a cat.
