Did You Guys See Michael Dorn on Heroes?

AlphaMan

I'm shocked that no one here caught it or saw fit to start a thread about it here. The last episode to air... He plays the President of the US that Nikki reported to in the end of the ep. You don't see his face, but the voice is unmistakable. A quick review of the credits reveals that he was in the episode.

I was loosing intrests, but I'm looking foward to the return of the episodes if he's to be a regular now.

I never base watching a tv show I was losing interest in based on who the guest actors are, one extra can't fix a show.

New writers can, however.

But I don't follow heroes anyway, so can't miss something I never had

Well, Jeph Loeb was fired too. I'll at least give it another shot. Especially with so many Trek alum on the show.

It won't be long before Marina Sirtis or John Frakes shows up, I'm sure.

I'm hoping that President Worf can be the one thing that will drag season three back up to quality. I doubt it'll happen but still...

I still watch Heroes - I got into so quickly through DVD that I'm still somewhat obsessed with it. It is like watching a trainwreck at the moment though.

I read about that on here and waited for the entire episode for Dorn to show when BBC Three first aired the ep.

Now all the show needs is William Shatner and I'll be happy.

I saw his name in the credits at the beginning of the episode and was totally pumped to see him in the show, I had no idea he was in it.

Then the episode seemed to end, and I was all "Wha? Is there another Michael Dorn out there that I don't recognize?"

And then they did the prologue for the next arc, and there he was.

VERY exciting!

Just because I didn't like the 2nd season didn't mean they couldn't rebound. TONS of shows get better as they go along. The Treks being the best example for me.

If they really wanted to milk his cameo, they would have done it like the BSG folks do and save his credit until after the show.

But yeah, that was pretty cool. I am hopeful about the next volume, but I expect my hopes to be dashed. This will be the show's "last chance" for me, as I'm sick of the bullshit storylines.

I just assume thats a contract thing - the same contract thing that often spoils Lost's guest stars. Such as the actor who played Libby showing up in the credits after she died and ending up in a Desmond flashback.

Would this thread get more attention if it were in the Sci-fi forum as it's more about the actor than his TNG/DS9 character...?

Yes..
they turn up in the series finale using a holoprogram showing how Riker made a similar choice not to wear horn rimmed glasses or join a paper company. Claire dies needlessly saving Noah from papercuts, despite never having stayed dead before. It's a poignant sacrifice, and a valentine to the fans. Just before Hiro unites the mutants with the normals for an eternity of global peace, they turn off the holoprogram.

I can see the internet fans spending a lifetime complaining about that ending ;)

That's a very long winded way of saying "no."

I can't believe he's lowered himself to appearing in that national disgrace.
