DC Cinematic Universe ( The James Gunn era)

Or it could be your government has issues with some of the content.
Except for Velma and DC's adult animations, the other Max's adult animations have already been added, so there is no such thing as government censorship of the content. If there was government censorship, they wouldn't hesitate to announce it on social media anyway.

David Fleming to Compose Music for James Gunn’s ‘Superman’
David Fleming (The Last of Us, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Damsel, Hillbilly Elegy, Jim Henson: Idea Man, The Unforgivable, Blue Planet II, The Night Logan Woke Up) is contributing music to James Gunn’s upcoming superhero movie Superman. He is sharing scoring credit with the project’s previously announced composer John Murphy ….
This strikes me as a weird development if true. Gunn has been all-in on Murphy, and it seems very late in the game to be bringing in a different/second composer. Studio dissatisfaction with Murphy’s work, perhaps?

I sure hope we’re not going to get grubby executive fingers interfering with this film. (When I raised this concern elsewhere a while back, I had a very aggressive Internet know-it-all insisting Gunn has final cut, but AFAIK, Gunn has never said that, and pretty sure that guy has not read his contract.)

If they were dissatisfied with his work, they'd replace it entirely, not just bring in a second composer to add to it. It's not unusual for a second composer to contribute additional music for reasons of scheduling or workload -- for instance, Alexander Courage and Fred Steiner contributed multiple uncredited cues to Jerry Goldsmith's Star Trek: The Motion Picture score, and Goldsmith's son Joel collaborated with credit on Star Trek: First Contact.

We were told there were some reshoots and pickup shots, which might require some minor reworking to the score, which sounds like the sort of thing an additional composer might be brought in to help with.

Fuck......
I hate being the guy to bring up MoS vs other Superman productions....
So far, from the trailer as well, the suit to me is just that. A suit. Something he puts on. In MoS, his suit never felt like clothing. A garment he wore. It was a part of his entire being. Not separate. But again, that's probably just me. I'm not a Snyder fanboy, just someone who loves MoS/BVS/JLZC.

I think the Gunn suit looks really awesome. But it's just that. A suit. Fabric. The MoS suit felt almost alien in a way.

I'll just shut up now.

Tough to make that judgement based on the few snippets I’ve seen. Definitely can’t wait for the film to release.

Each to their own. Personally, I much prefer Corenswet’s suit to Cavill’s. And among the many reasons for that is precisely the fact that it does look like fabric worn on an actual human body, as opposed to a vacuformed plastic shell.

I also don’t think emphasizing Superman’s alienness is the way to go, visually or otherwise.

As you said, each to their own. And I do understand your point of view.

I think sometimes we want this stuff to be a little too serious. This is a movie about a guy from another world flying around trying to help humans. In a blue suit with a red cape.

It just seems like many folks want to suck the fun and enjoyment out of these things. I remember trying to watch Andor season one. Fell asleep multiple times, I just didn't care about the machinations of the Republic and Empire.

I like the new suit, my only complaint is that it doesn't really look like something Martha would have made for him down on the farm. I'm curious if he got this one from the Fortress of Solitude, I know several versions have gone that route.
I just like the idea of the suit being something his mom made for him, it really adds that old fashioned farm boy feel to the character.

Split the difference. Based on the suit his Mom made for him. But out of Krytonian materials.

Mom is also a cos-player. Used to dress up as Crusher at cons. ;)
