Cowboys Stadium

The NFL on general principle shouldn't let the Cowboys play there until they fix it,

Uh, the NFL approved that screen height you know.

Well, that was a mistake. It was hit four times in a row during warm ups, and once during the only game played there. Clearly it is changing the game play, and that shouldn't happen.

From the article:
The Cowboys believed Trapasso was trying to hit it during the game when he nailed it in the third quarter, but Trapasso denied it was intentional.

Stay classy, Cowboys.

Well, that was a mistake.

A mistake by the NFL, not the Cowboys or Jerry Jones. In fact, it's 5 feet above the approved height by the NFL. If anybody should be embarrassed by this, it's the league. And if the league approved it at that height, but now decides it won't work, the league should have to pay for raising it higher.

The minimum height is laughably low as it turns out. Also, it's ugly and distracting, just chop the damned thing down already and call it a day.

Jerry Jones is just a whiner that doesn't like the fact that his new stadium wasn't completely perfect. They have to move it up for a U2 concert in the next month or so anyway, so may as go ahead and move it now, then leave it up.

i am having a hard time time believing the nfl is allowing.
though some one in the league office was evidently a fool for just giving out some figure without checking into it.

The stadium is being a laughing stock, that fits the Cowboys perfectly!

Yup, we're laughing all the way through our 5 Super Bowl wins and 8 appearances as well as best winning percentage in NFL history.

RAMA

I think you've just barely jumped the gun. The Cowboys' all-time record is 455-333-6, a winning percentage of 0.5768.

With an all-time record of 400-292-4, the Miami Dolphins still have the best winning percentage at 0.5776.

(My source is the Pro Football Hall of Fame; the PDF file linked to at that page has the details.)

Those records are really, really close, though-- so close that by my calculations, the Cowboys will have the best win percentage in the NFL if they win their first game and the Dolphins lose their first game.
