Character art for Vanguard?

Mage

Vice Admiral
Admiral
Has there ever been any? I can get a picture in my head as to what the characters look like, but I'd love to see if any official work has ever been done.

Oh, and on a side note; what color uniform would T'Prynn where? Couldn't really figure out what her department would fall under in the 23rd century. Somehow, I figure Security Red.

I think they did have pictures for Cooper and Nogura in an issue of Star Trek Magazine with an excerpt from one of the books.

Ok that's weird.

Based solely on how he was written, I was always picturing Morgan Freeman as Dr. Fischer when I read these.

Oh yeah, it was perfect. He's one of my favorite characters in the books too.

The one other time I remember that happening was Sean Connery as Commander Vaughn. (The cover art on the first DS9 book he was in helped too - the model they used wasn't Connery, but bore a strong resemblance.)

Tommy Lee Jones on the other hand wasn't even close. I have an actor I picture as Diego Reyes for some reason, but I don't know his name. He's a hispanic actor who is in a lot of different shows, usually minor roles.

I think Tommy Lee Jones would be an awesome Star Trek captain if they could ever get him! :)

Ewan McGreggor is a good choice for Pennington. I have a very specific mental image of him that doesn't match any particular actor, but he's a pretty close fit.

My 'ideal' cast for the main characters of Vanguard would be:
Esai Morales as Diego Reyes
Morena Baccarin as T'Prynn
Ving Rhames as Jetanian (voice)
Daniel Dae Kim as Min Xiong
Morgan Freeman as Ezekiel Fisher
Rekha Sharma as Rana Desai
James Callis as Tim Pennington
Adam Baldwin as Cervantes Quinn
Kiera Knightley as Anna Sandejo/Lurqual
Dave Bautista (Batista) as Ganz

Freeman seems a little too old at this point for Fisher as he's described in the books, but I couldn't think of anyone else who would work in the role.

^ No, not that old. He's in his eighties and is described as a "fifty-year-plus veteran" of Starfleet.

Although assuming a trend of improvement in medical science and geriatrics, 80s in the 23rd century might be the equivalent of 100s in the 24th.

I just stumbled across this photoshop I made a couple months ago, while looking through my pics. I made it fairly quickly while playing around so it's a little rough, but it gets the point across.

Oh, I might have to open it to the public. I didn't want to post it to my wall, but apparently I must have to if I want you guys to see it. I just posted it to my wall, so hopefully it will work. If not I'll just link to my wall.

They are not official by any means, but I did a few drawings, based on the actor-suggestions on David Macks Website a while ago:

T'Prynn (Yeah, I know, the pose is not very typical for a vulcan... and now I know, that her uniform should be red) and Captain Desai. :/
