Big Bang SPOILER - Facebook campaign launched

The fez is fine as a one-off joke about how bad the Eleventh Doctor's fashion sense is. But the fezzes would quickly be up there with Colin Baker's suit as an example of people with bad fashion sense hurting the entire program if brought back.

Of course you know, this means war.

Well to be fair, Colin did have the single worst outfit of the entire run of Doctor Who. But to his credit, at least he was a better Doctor than Sylvester....:guffaw:

I think people are missing the bigger picture here.

Starkers. Sci. Bones. Pretty much in agreement.

Alignments like that usually bring down realities and proves we must be right. The Fez must never return!

"That's ok," says the Doctor. "I've always fancied a Pith helmet."

I said PITH!

I'd give almost anything for a chance to meet Matt in person. I'd buy a fez for him to autograph just for the ocassion. :)

I think the Doctor should have a variety of silly hats.
"I wear a beanie now. Beanies are cool."

"Yes, I wear an umbrella hat now. Umbrella hats are cool..."

I think people are missing the bigger picture here.

"...and they protect your head when it's pithing down with helmets..."

I just think it means you've been corrupted.

Ah yes, can't believe I let that one slide either.

On the subject of hats, what do you call those hats that skinny, young, insufferable twats wear these days? Like grey versions of what the smurfs wore. If the BBC had brought Doctor Who back as a BBC3 series, we'd probably have ended up with someone like that forgettable Corden-leech Matthew Horne in one of those.

I thought the fez suited him and the rest of the outfit perfectly. It gives him a more distinct look rather than just looking like a 'young fogey' hipster. I would welcome it as an occasional addition to his outfit. It is about time the doc rocked a hat of some kind though, even if it isn't the fez. A sporting cap would suit, or a trilby(though it would be a bit too trendy for my tastes), even a Holmesy deerstalker. Even better would be to see him occasionally break out some very colonial outfits like a safari gettup or the like when suitable for their adventure. The signature outfit doesn't need to go anywhere, but I don't think we need to see it every week.
