BBC One - Christmas Drama Trailer(mild spoilers)

Does it spoil Who, 'Enders, or Triffids... ? ;)
Crandford.

I think they should amalgamate all 4. I think the BBC would have a real winner on their hands with that.
no reason Cranford & EE cant cross.

Im not sure the good folk of the Whoverse need invasions from aliens from sci-fi shows, on top all of the ones they currently "enjoy"

however you would need some form of time travel to get from Albert Square to Cranford.

That said the BBC cant even be bothered to cross Casualty & Casualty 1900s yet alone EE & Cranfrod

^Well that's because Casualty and Casualty 1900s aren't actually related and are produced in different locations and set in different places.

I am aware of that, but it does not mean the BBC should not try.

Ive thought about this in the past, and its really easy.

One of the Casualty 1900's nurses gets pregnant, and has a baby, in Casualty the now 100 years old "baby" dies in Holby City A&E, but not before talking to Charlie about what it was like for her mother back in the 1900's

That or the much more simple "hes new to London, hes come from Holby to find work" as Holby is a fictional city, if it was mentioned in Casualty 1900's, that would prove Casualty 1900's is part of the Holbyverse.

I want to see Triffids show up in Enders or Cranford. Triffids taking out half the Queen Vic would be great, and they'd set the bonnets bobbing nicely in Cranford. Also, I'd love to catch a glimpse of the Doctor knocking back a pint in the Vic.

dont even joke about a Doctor Who / Eastenders crossover, ive seen Dimensions in Time, it must not be allowed to happen again.

As for EE & the Triffids this I favour, the one thing missing from EE is a touch of Sci-Fi, why not have the residents of Albert Square have to survive an alien attack? it would be a good way to end the show as well.

*has not seen Cranford*

Start speculating. Notice the symbol in the back.

So how many people think this is really The Master?

At this point, it looks as though it is either The Master in a very familiar "no more regenerations" state of decay (the skeletal look seems to be real, and the flesh and blood only an illusion), or this is an enemy force posing as The Master and not maintaining the disguise very well.

Maybe he tried regenerating from ashes and ended up all skeletal and shit...

That's James Bond!

Anyway, personally I'm hoping for Eric Roberts back. He's still my favourite. "As WELL as you..."

Here's a selection of new photographs set to music. Definitely some new spoilers (at least to me, but I'm pretty spoiled thus far).

Nice! I like the spiky aliens. I'm also getting used to hoody Master. Wilf seems to be sort of the companion for this episode which is great, I think. But I really have no clue how it all fits together. I haven't read any spoilers and I don't plan to. I want to go into this as unspoiled as possible. Let's hope it works out better than with the Paul McCartney concert on Thursday where I was still spoiled about all the new songs he'd play even though the first concert of the tour was only the day before.

Nice pics! It's been confirmed for some time now that Wilf is The Doctor's companion for the two parter, I have no clue how it's going to fit together and be revealed either and I'm very limited as far as spoilers go. Christmas can't get here soon enough.

Okay, what the fuck is up with those green spike-headed things? I have not yet heard mention of them. They look particularly cheesy, even for Doctor Who, and they also feel light and goofy...which does not fit with the darker tone these episodes are supposed to have.

They could be related! They could be from Sto, too, or maybe Bannakaffalatta came from a different planet originally.

The one I'm intrigued about is the shot of Donna with a man facing her. I'm almost certain it's the guy she was "married" to in the Silence in the Library two parter.
