Battlefield 1942

One of my favorite games for XBOX was Star Wars Battlefront 2 (and 1). Now I've read it's basically just a carbon copy of Battlefield 1942 a PC game. I see on Amazon you can buy "Battlefield 1942 Complete" for $10 and it includes like 5 games.

Now, I am on internet dial-up and will not be playing it online with other people. So my question is, can 1942 be played just with bots by yourself the way that Star Wars can be? 'Cause otherwise I have no reason to buy it

There is no point in getting any of the Battlefield games unless you want to play online

BF 1942 has bot play. And yes, pretty much every game similar to Battlefield is just a cheap knock-off. Battlefront 2 was really only entertaining because of its Star Wars connection.
