Did this show air last Friday? I just belatedly realized it wasn't on the list of my new DVR even though I definitely set it to program the episode before I went on vacation. I checked the log and the DVR said it was "unable" to record the program.
Yep, it was. Night of the Batmen, as I recall. It was fun. Batman is injured so Captain Marvel, Green Arrow, Aquaman and Plastic Man decide to help out.
Ohh, damn. I actually taped it on my VCR as a backup, but I didn't watch it in time and it got taped over last night! Arrghhh!!! And the show doesn't seem to be on Hulu or On Demand, and CN never reruns it. I guess I'll have to wait for the DVDs.
If anything, you should see it for the portrayal of Martian Manhunter. He and Bats, very fun.
And to add insult to injury, this week's is a rerun. If only they'd aired a rerun last week.

He isn't. He was created by Hanna-Barbera for a 1960s cartoon. But Warner Bros. bought H-B some years back, so they're free to cross over H-B characters into Brave and the Bold. They already did a Scooby-Doo episode earlier this season (a callback to the '70s New Scooby-Doo Movies Batman/Scooby crossovers, which were possible at the time because H-B had a license to use Batman and other DC characters in Superfriends).
Every week my 7 year old asks, "When are new episodes of Batman going to be on?" Sadly, every week I have to shrug my shoulders and say, "I don't know."
This show is really something special. It's sad that we only have so many episodes left and even worse, we don't know when Cartoon Network is going to show them.
