Anybody remember "Gargoyles"?

^I saw it in syndicated reruns a few years ago... I'd say it still holds up quite well (although the World Tour is way too long).

Gargoyles was a great show. I haven't seen it in a long time though, so not sure if it holds up.

I caught it on The Hub a year or so ago. It's still a great story. But man, was I begging for some new music after a while. Especially their 'Something exciting is happening' music.

^Yeah... In the early episodes they had original scores tailored to the events and characters, but later on they just kept reusing them as library cues. It always bugs me when a theme created for a specific character or thing ends up being used generically, like hearing Macbeth's theme in an episode that had nothing to do with Macbeth.

I'm old enough to remember these Gargoyles.

I remember my first episode being Metamorphosis as a kid. All those episodes with Xanatos winning really felt like a mindfuck especially Metamorphosis though I had originally thought they were airing the episodes out of order like Exo-Squad.

My first episode was the pilot. Oh, the days when you could get away with that sort of violence...

I'm pretty sure my first episode was the one with Puck and the mirror.

Love the show and very glad the first two seasons are now entirely available on DVD; the wait for S2V2 was horrible.

I think it's a dreadful shame S2V2 ships with no special features though, and the case design is horrible. I love having the episodes, but it's regrettable that it was given such shoddy treatment.
