EDIT to add: Carabatsos is still alive.

Carabatsos graduated Hunter College in 1962. There is a 1962 yearbook ("Wistarion") here but it does not have the photos of individual students, nor does it name students in the group photos provided (for privacy reasons?). You might want to get a hold of the actual yearbook which hopefully has a portrait photo of the writer, just a few years before he worked on Trek.

Thanks. I would still try and see if his college photo can be obtained. I wish the CUNY schools like Hunter would scan and make their yearbooks available online.
