I'm 180 on this. David A, has a great voice, and when i hear him it's like god he has a great voice...but he has no 'soul'; no character in his voice for lack of a better explanation. I would never buy any of his music.

Yeah, that was my problem with Jordin Sparks last year too. Voice is fine, but...empty.

I only watched a bit this year and couldn't really find anyone to root for, so I gave up on it.

Yea, I like the whole "When I got home, I watched it again...blabla..." Massive backtracking because he probably knew at that point that David A. didn't win... I think the viewing/voting public finally got it right this time. David A. has a fine voice, but all his songs come off (to me) sounding pretty much the same. David C. was the better overall "performer", from presentation to skill to preformances. He already looked like a Pro....

And him preforming with ZZ Top... It was really good...
