Aliens on Doctor Who you'd like to see again

Sorry for the much-later reply: I’ve always pictured the Daleks as being so heavily conditioned and genetically “lobotomized” (and dependent on their casings) that, essentially, they already are “home” anytime you see them — I.e. they don’t really have a home life, and they really are that way pretty much 100% of the time.

Yes, of course. I meant "at home" more figuratively, i.e. what do Daleks do when they aren't invading or attacking someone? It seems to me they lack the social complexity to really have anything to do when they aren't actively engaged in battle or ordering slaves around or whatever. Do they even think about anything at all between tasks, or do they just sit around passively awaiting instructions?

(All of which can be countered by Lance Parkin’s non-canonical but excellent fan script for the Jodie Whittaker Doctor, “Retreat of the Daleks”, which includes a throwaway line that Dalek poetry is the supreme poetry of the universe. I‘d love to see a story that explored something like that.)

The Vogons would be crushed to hear that.

When Daleks aren't fighting, they operate a diner.

Arguably, though Witch's Familiar suggested otherwise, Daleks spend some much time hoping they will get the Doctor that they over-enjoy it, shouting for so long he was a chance to escape.

It does seem to be a persistent issue on their part, except for that one Dalek who was on the ball in "The Stolen Earth" and shot the Doctor on sight. Might've gotten a promotion and had its inclinations put into the next generation, if Jack hadn't blasted it immediately.

Dalek Break Room

Dalek 1: If I captured the Doctor, he would be EXTERMINATED!

Dalek 2: I too would EXTERMINATE the Doctor if I captured him!

Dalek 3: I would probably give him the time and opportunity to escape and concoct a plan to defeat the Daleks.

Daleks 1 and 2 turn their eye stalks to Dalek 3

Both: EXPLAIN!!!

Dalek 3: What??? You guys don't watch the show?

Issue might be that you can't get Death's Head without paying Transformers royalties, or at the very least having to let Simon Furman write some of the dialogue. Which, admittedly, might be awesome.

Death's head isn't a Transformers character, he's a Marvel character. Marvel didn't want the transformers owners to have his rights, so while his first appearance is in a Transformers issue Marvel actually printed a one page story for the character (High Noon Tex) in several of their own books, and based on their license at the time apparently that was enough to make him a 100% Marvel character.

The timeline is a bit weird and it doesn't quite make sense with what we know about the licenses, but its indisputable that Death's Head is a Marvel character and Simon Furman has mentioned writing High Noon Tex as a one page back up specifically to give Marvel the rights.
