Aliens on Doctor Who you'd like to see again

Doesn't have to be a good guy or even a baddy but any aliens that you wish could make a return appearance from any series of Dr Who

I have a short list of favourites... I'd love to see back on the show.

The Fendahl

Sutekh

The aliens from Flatline - Truly they were one of the best and really were otherworldly and scary

The Ogri

The Macra, I mean seeing their claws really, they could have done more with them in another story but it is what it is. I'd like to see them back too.

Draconians.

Just what I was going to say. Amazing that nobody's brought them back yet. There aren't enough recurring Who alien species that aren't evil, that are just a different civilization.

Also, bring back the Rutans and actually put them in the same story with Sontarans. It's bizarre that we've been hearing for decades about this eternal war between the two species, but we've never seen them on screen together.

Both great choices and honestly with the reboot of Who in 2005 I had always wondered why we never got to see one of the great rivalries on screen.

The Judoon are fun, but they're incredibly two dimensional so the joke wears thin if they turn up to often.

I always liked the idea of the Krillitanes from School Reunion, aliens who take on traits from species they conquer, like a biological Borg, I always thought there was a lot of potential there.

It's not exactly canon, nor is it really very good, but it does feature the Sontarans and the Rutans in the same story.

They have been back, in SJA and Who.

To be fair, the original question wasn't limited to aliens that haven't been reused, just aliens that we'd like to see again in the future. Although personally I agree that the Judoon have appeared enough times to exhaust what few attributes they have, so I don't see the appeal of bringing them back yet again.

He was right I meant aliens that you would like to see back so that's fair enough but personally I thought the Judoon outstayed their welcome as do the fucking Daleks

As far as the Daleks go, I would like to see a story about the Daleks at home. What do they do when they're not going around exterminating people and yelling about exterminating people? What do they talk about on their off hours? What do they think about? Do they have any kind of social interaction other than issuing and acknowledging orders? How does an entire society of narcissistic, paranoid sociopaths function, to the extent that it can even be considered a society?

That's the thing -- and I'd love to see the Doctor point it out someday. The Daleks are so convinced they're the greatest, most perfect life forms in the universe, but it seems that being a Dalek must be a dismal, empty existence. Which is part of what makes them such a great allegory for Nazis and racial supremacists.

You know what that's actually not a bad idea. It would be kind of like "a day in the life of" kind of episode showing us with one of the most iconic races does on their homeworld when they are not out shooting and yelling. That could potentially be interesting if done well.

I thought the Judoon outstayed their welcome
???
As far as televised content goes, they only have ten appearances across the entire franchise, and six of those were just brief cameos with less than a minute screentime per episode. Of the remaining four, they only had a meaningful part of the plot for three if them, Smith and Jones, Fugitive of the Judoon and SJA's Prisoner of the Judoon.
