Honestly, I am starting to hate the actor (irrational, I know) because of the type casting and he owns it so well. I would love for them to cast against the type, just because I would like to see him not be chewing the scenery as a villian.

He's great in Dear White People. I agree he owns the villainous stuff, but it would be great to see him as a hero. I think he'd make a great 'Picard' type Captain.
Disney princess, Star Wars character, MCU character, video game character, Stargate character...yeah, it's high time.

Back in the day, he was the undisputed champion of Trek guest starring roles. Yet not ONE of the current shows has asked him to return. That's a mistake that needs to be corrected. Rapidly.

Jemaine Clement would do great as a TOS colonist type in SNW. Amber Midthunder as well. Enjoyed both of them in Legion recently.

Hugo Weaving was born to play a Vulcan, and I'd love to see Danny Trejo as a Klingon. Alas, David Bowie would've made a great Vorta.
