I know he's basically left the novels now, but I think there is a lot still worth mining from his character.

Much as I like Ross, I'm hoping we don't ever see him again, post-Articles. He walked out of Bacco's office into quiet retirement and he's going to keep his head down so that Section 31, etc, doesn't decide to categorize him as a major risk. I do very much want to know if he survived the Borg Invasion, but I think it works better to have him truly written out of the cast. I'm content to wonder.

Oh, I'm totally with you there! I never ever want to see him again, post-Articles. I meant that there is a lot to mine from his character beforehand.

Looks pretty slapdash to me. The Titan model that looked so incredibly real in its appearance on the cover of The Poisoned Chalice looks terrible there.

Yeah, it seems to be keeping with the "theme" of e-book novella covers. The Stuff of Dreams by James Swallow, for instance. Kind of a lower-res, more "rough" look. I don't mind it, truly.

I assumed it was supposed to look like an animated version of the Titan.

I do wish they would have had Tobias' Titan model again, it's so brilliant!

Not bad. It's a nice look at the ship, but I would have preferred something more than just another ship image.
