I love their wrap-up article on the Shield. Hilarious. There people are such freaking wack jobs.
surely common sense tells you that shows like The Shield, The Unit or Desperate Housewives or Sex and the City aren't aimed at the under 15s any way from what they're about or when they're broadcast?
Apparently it doesn't. Honestly, the whole website is a laugh fest.

I hate the mentality behind people who start websites like this who think everything a child could be exposed to has to be tailored to them.
Maybe you should keep your little darlings away from the TV if you don't like it?
There's am article on there about them ranting about a TV-14 rated episode of "Two and Half Men" featuring a strip club.
Aparently, NO 14 year old has ever seen a good looking woman in a bikini dancing.

And maybe family viewing hours shouldn't have strippers featured on network tv.
Oh, and St. Nick, Friends was the worst show on tv not because of the reason you mentioned. It was the worst show on tv because it was the worst show on tv. It was BRUTAL.
The "strip" scene was anything but. It was a woman dancing in a bikini, albeit, in a sensual manner in a strip-club setting.
The show was rated TV-14. All the warning a concerned parent should need of their precious 13 year old seeing a pretty woman dancing in a bikini. Because, NO teenager has seen that.

I don't necessairly disagree. So when that "TV-14" comes up at the begining of the show you tell the 12 year old to leave the room or change the channel.

And maybe you should change the channel or turn the TV off instead of counting on the government to parent your children for you - all while treating adults as children right along with them.
Their point is to force censorship on everyone because they're too lazy to keep an eye on what their children are watching. So yes, they are nuts.
How? How is criticizing them for being censor happy being "no better than they are"? Don't wait for the translation! Answer me now!

I REALLY wish the govt would mandate that parental controls be built in to all new TVs, DVD players and cable boxes. Then these people wouldn't have a leg to stand on.
They'd still complain of course, but it'd make them even more fringe than they are now.
I wish I was in charge of the FCC. Instead of fining stations, I'd hand out bonuses. "What's that? Full frontal nudity? Here's ten grand."
